What is ‘Voices in Data?’

Voices in Data is a space where shared experiences are gathered through anonymous surveys to better understand how survivors experience healing and support. It offers an alternative way to contribute apart from sharing a story.

❋ Weekly Survey

Consisting of 1-3 questions regarding how you survivors experience healing, trauma, and systems of care. Response style will mainly be multiple choice and/or short answer. Always with the opportunity to add additional information if needed.

❋ Always Voluntary

Surveys will never be required or forced, it will always be 100% voluntary to participate in any survey sent out.

❋ Displaying Data

Responses are used to highlight patterns in lived experience and may be shared in summary form to support education and understanding. Individual responses remain anonymous and are not identifiable. Patterns and trends may be shared under the Learning section to help bring survivor voices into existing research.

❋ How to Participate?

To participate, you can sign up for our Weekly Survivor Surveys below. Each week, you will receive an email with an optional survey to complete.

Signing up for emails does not require you to participate, you are always free to engage in whatever way feels right for you.

How It Works

  • Fill out the form below to be added to our ‘Weekly Survey Emails.’ If you would prefer to not add your email, the survey will be posted below every Monday, and will stay open and accessible for two weeks.

    You can opt out of receiving emails at anytime

  • Surveys will take no more than 5 minutes to complete, with many consisting of a single multiple-choice question.

    You may choose to opt out of any week’s survey at any time.

  • On the first Friday of each month, trends and patterns in the data will be reviewed and combined with existing research to provide a written analysis of survivor experiences.
